Barbara Boutilier is an Estate Administrator in the Advisory Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. working in the Sydney office. She is part of the PwCDebtSolutions™ group.

As an Estate Administrator, Barbara is involved in all facets of the Consumer Debtor practice. She is involved in the insolvency process from initial debtor contact through to Trustee discharge and file closure. She has also successfully completed the Insolvency Counselor's Qualification Course offered as a joint initiative by the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP) and the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy.

Barbara graduated from Mount Allison University, NB with a BCom degree in 1983.

Charlene Hartlen is a Debt Solutions Counsellor specializing in the consumer debtor practice with a focus on personal bankruptcy, consumer proposals and debt counselling. Charlene has worked in the Advisory Services practice since November 1981 and has indepth experience in insolvency administration. Currently she is working out of two offices in the HRM offering assistance to debtors with their financial difficulties.

Charlene has training under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA) as well as Ryerson University and is recognized as a Financial Counsellor by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy.

Valerie Lotherington is a Senior Debt Solutions Counsellor working in the Sydney Office. She is part of the PwCDebtSolutions™ group.

Valerie provides financial advise on personal and insolvency matters including creditor proposals and bankruptcies. As well she is also involved in all facets of corporate receiverships and bankruptcies.

Valerie graduated from University College of Cape Breton in 1982 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She also graduated in 1980 with a two year diploma in Business Administration majoring in Accounting. She has also taken courses in Insolvency Administration, Insolvency Counselling, and additional accounting and tax courses.

Valerie brings more than 20 years experience to her role dealing with both consumer and corporate engagements.

Shelley Munroe is a Senior Debt Solutions Counsellor working in the Sydney Office. She is part of the PwCDebtSolutions™ group.

Shelley specializes in the consumer debtor practice with a focus on personal bankruptcy proceedings, consumer proposals, and debt counselling.

Shelley joined the firm in 1993, after which she completed her BIA Insolvency Counsellor's Qualification Course and also the Course on Insolvency Administration. Shelley graduated from the University College of Cape Breton with a two year diploma.

Barbara Peverill is an Debt Solutions Counsellor in the Advisory Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. working in the Halifax Sydney office. She is part of the PwCDebtSolutions™ group.

Barbara graduated from Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS with a BA (English) degree in 1977.

Erin Reid is a Debt Solutions Counsellor in the Advisory Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Erin has worked in the Advisory Services practice since July, 1988 and has in depth experience in most aspects of insolvency administration. She travels to various locations (Halifax, Kentville, Bridgewater, and Truro) in Nova Scotia assisting debtors with their financial difficulties.

Erin completed the Insolvency Administrator's Course in June, 2000 and completed the Insolvency Counsellor's Qualification Course in April, 2001.

Wayne Slade is a Debt Solutions Counsellor in the Advisory Services practice of the Halifax office of PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc.

Wayne has worked within our Advisory Services practice since 1988 in varying capacities and is currently focused on assisting debtors within the Consumer Debtor practice locations of Amherst and New Glasgow.

Rita Anderson is an associate partner in the Advisory Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Sydney, Nova Scotia office. She is part of the Business Recovery Services group.

Rita leads the firm's Cape Breton practice and provides insolvency services through court and private receivership, agency appointments, bankruptcy proceedings, formal and informal proposals, and through court direction on behalf of debtors, creditors and lenders. She also provides consulting and corporate recovery services.

Rita graduated from the University College of Cape Breton with a Business Technology Diploma, and she is a Trustee in Bankruptcy and a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Practitioner. She is also the former Treasurer for the Rotary Disabled Children's Regatta.

Stan Hopkins is an associate partner in the Advisory Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Halifax office. He leads the firm's Consumer Debtor Insolvency group in the Maritime provinces.

He specializes in corporate and personal bankruptcy administration; proposals made under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act; and advising and assisting secured lenders in identifying solutions to problem loans.

Stan joined PwC in 1997. He moved from Saskatoon to the firm's Halifax office in 2004 to lead the Consumer Debtor practice. He obtained a CA designation in 1979, is a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) and a Licensed Trustee in Bankruptcy.
